Well, I tried to start a blog, but the past few weeks have been pretty crazy. Allison and I got a great surprise on February 9 when Samuel Reid Chambers came into the world; he was 7lbs 10oz and 19 in long. The past month has been exhausting, but I wouldn't trade it for anything! I'll try to put a few pictures up in the days to come for all to see. In the midst of all of the craziness, I feel that I have somewhat dropped the ball in other areas, and for that I apologize. I know that the Lord is teaching me through these situations, and I pray that I listen.
On Wednesday nights we have been continuing through the book of Ephesians learning about the Church. The past two weeks I have used Thabiti Anyabwile's study on Ephesians (which I highly recommend), studying how we are to function within the church. Next week I hope to be back on track with our regular studies.
I'm also very excited about our trip to New Orleans this summer. It's been a long time since I've been to the city, but I know it is a city in need of the gospel message. We still have about 5 spots open, so hurry up and sign up. If you are planning on going, I need $25 by March 16th.
